Hi Craig,

I'm not sure why you're trying to update from 4.0.25 to 4.1.13 since 4.0.25 is the recommended version to use. Since you have a managed dedicated server with us we can perform the upgrade for you. Please submit a ticket to our Client Area to request this.

Hi steve.

I am only upgrading because the forums that will need to be moved to the new server are running databases using 4.1.13 and will not copy over.

I did attempt to use phpMyAdmin to export them from the vps by selecting the option to export the sql for use with 4.0 but it did not work.

I will leave it as it is if i can get the databases moved.

p.s - maybe i should be moved out of the reseller usergroup.

What errors are you getting when trying to restore them on your server?

I will import the database using phpMyAdmin it will put the tables in,but i am getting connection and syntax errors.

If i use the root password to move them it will bring the databases over but not the tables.

Do you have root access to both servers? If so, we can try copying the raw MySQL data over.
